    I agree, it is very Escheresque.
    Funny, I was reminded of the catfish in Escher's Three Worlds, but then I always see that in my mind's eye when I see catfish.

    It does look carpy:confused: , but Escher called it a 'meerval', Dutch for catfish. It was the first catfish I ever saw, maybe that is why it stuck.:playful:

    Could be, but the Dutch word 'meerval' doesn't have the Dutch word for cat in it, which is 'kat'. Maybe he just got his fish mixed up.;)
