Is This Charger Italian or Studio Pottery?

I'm a little stumped on this pottery charger. Multicoloured in an enamel-like glaze. The colours remind me a little of San Marino pottery, but maybe this is a studio pottery piece? 15 1/4" diameter, fairly thick and heavy. No signature that I can see unless that yellow mark on the underside is something. Anyone have a clue? Oooo I LOVE that ! My knee jerk was Italian, but I could be way off. It could have had a paper label.
