I’m sure my mother picked up this plate at a thrift store or GW at some point and I have lensed it and can’t find anything remotely close. I can’t decipher the makers mark at all. If anyone has any idea or can read the name I would be very greatful . If it’s not clear enough , my son has a better camera than I . IMG_3921.jpeg IMG_3920.jpeg IMG_3922.jpeg

There is one like it shown here in different colors and says it's L Hjorth

This is the online translation from Danish.

The Christmas plate is decorated with a relief: A small angel carries a three-armed candlestick with three lit candles in it. The following is written on the front of the plate: "CHRISTMAS 1923" On the back is the stamp: "L. Hjorth" The angel is unglazed, the rest is red- and black glazed.

Annual Christmas plates (Jul) were/are popular in Scandinavia. I had a Norwegian one that was my grandmother's. Dunno where it is now.
