Portrait Artist ID

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to identify the artist and location of this portrait of General George C. Marshall. Unfortunately, all I have is this single image from Google with little context.

    Marshall is shown in his later years, possibly in his position as Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense. The flag behind him at left is the flag of the U.S. Army Chief of Staff, which Marshall served as from 1939-1945.

    Any help identifying the artist and the location of this portrait would be helpful. Thanks!

    We used to have a member whose tag was "The Marshall House", and who worked for the same organization.
