Featured Glassies: Crackle Glass Vase

Good morning folks. I've tried Rainbow, Pilgrim and Bischoff Glass Groups on FB and Vintage Glass Identification group on FB. No one seems to know. Even tried a Blenko group this AM. Would you call this a hat or JIP vase? Orange crackle glass. 5 3/4" tall x 6 1/4" wide x 3 5/8" body diameter. Thank you for any leads you can provide with identification .

 

did the blenko group mention Amberina ?

 

hard to find anyone who folds the rim like that........

You Glassies have my respect....

Kanawha was as close as I got..

 

Amberina would be the color most likely. Kanawha group said not theirs either I've had Blenko pieces with the same bottom. So far none of the major WV Glass companies have claimed it

 

is it considered jack in the pulpit...or is it too loose for that ?

 

Someone called it a JIP but to me that seems like a long shot, Most I've seen come to a point on top

Very little at the moment.............

Little windy, but nothing major.

I got my yard furniture put away yesterday..........struggled whether or not to remove the window boxes fearing the wind might do it for me............granddaughter said "leave them" I'll help you tomorrow if needed. And so I did.........not needed as yet.........

 

I looked for your stunning item but with no results.
I would lean towards rainbow but I think you ruled that out.

If it were Blenko the color would be called tangerine but Blenko almost never have pontil scars. I have one nearly identical to it in blue. Never figured out who made it either.

Funny that you should say you have one in blue. Another lady said the same thing on my post in the Crackle Glass Collectors group on FB. She hasn't been able to ID hers either

I'll have to resize my photo or get a new one, it's all the way in Iowa.

 

Sorry it took me so long but here's pictures of my little blue vase.
