I thought the same as you, they didn't belong together - imagine my surprise when I did an image search:) So it is a Humidifier - I like it better as a casserole dish:)

@cxgirl - Your Irice bottle is probably 1960s to 1980s. I haven't seen many pink bottles but there are oodles of the clear faceted-cut ones around.

Love the wall plaque with the knights! The movement is beautifully captured! Very nice indeed. That could very happily hang on my den wall!

If you plan to sell, @cxgirl , I think you should include "Puff The Magic Dragon" in your listing. ;)

The basalt isn’t Wedgwood, I’ll remember the likely maker if my head wakes up. I bet the kettle is Scandinavian. Dragon is very much based on Catalan drach.

I SHOULD have gotten up at 4 am and gone to a town community yard sale, but sleep was calling my name. Plus it's 87 and humid here, plus I went out yesterday plus I am going to an outdoor show in a ritzy rich shore town tomorrow. A friend of mine has a sale a few times a year, people get there at 6 a.m., I got there at 11 a.m., she still had goodies. Spent $70.
Just some costume rings, $2 each.

When I got home, I saw a mark Dweck Diamonds. I googled, and learned it's a Stephen Dweck piece. The blue stones are not diamonds- the last one sold on ebay like this went for $400.

This I got at an eclectic shop. The owner said it was junk. I bought it for $8. Questions with my Google research will be posted on the jewelry board.

It is made by carving a mold into a soft stone called tufa. Molten silver is poured into the mold. Sometimes this is called sand casting. The tufa stone creates the distinctive rough finish.
