    Maker is Sheffield Silver Co of Brooklyn New York

    BTW, The EPC stands for Electro Plated on Copper.

    2 back of cigarettes size and a middle lidded container. Year? Photo found online besides mine?

    In reply to my post of an reputable online source identifying the maker's mark and years the company was in business you asked what year "the photo" was found. Did you look at the link?

    The item was probably made sometime between 1908 and 1935, the years between the founding of the maker and the year in which the firm was acquired by Farber Brothers. If that was what you wanted to know.

    Yes. I think ashtray. Same as hoof and hinge of gone with the wind item found.
