Thrift find - 2 Keith Haring poster prints + a June Nelson painting!

I saw the Keith Haring poster /print Andy Mouse from across the room, because the colors popped! When I picked it up to take to the front, I saw another one behind it!

The 1st is called Andy Mouse and it's a 1993 printing authorized by the Keith Haring estate and was printed in Germany.

The 2nd one isn't as colorful/bright and is untitled - it was printed in 1985 by George Mulder in Holland.

I love both of these & want to keep them, but the prices that are being asked for each is incredible ($1,000 - $2,000 each) - if I get a decent offer I guess I'll sell it; then start looking for more!

Finally I found a painting by June Nelson - it was the only painting there & came off the same truck/from same donation as the Harings so I bought it - and when I got home found she is a listed artist!

Keith haring poster there is a seller on ebay who is asking 350 or best offer. Same poster as yours. They don't sell for 1000 those are ridiculous asking prices

 

Look at measurements - that one is 10"

 

A search of completed auctions on liveauctioneers.com show that most Haring posters sell for less than $250 if they sell at all. Perhaps you are confusing the screenprints with the posters.

 

These 2 have not sold for 250 - but if that's true I'd sell the untitled one and keep Andy Mouse!

 

I would also have kept Andy Mouse. That one is very cool!

 

Well sheesh! I accepted $750 for Andy Mouse on eBay last night!
I sent buyer pics of 2nd I hadn't posted yet & we're discussing selling it too.
