Hi there. I have some artwork I’ve tried to find information on.
The first I believe to be Thunderbird carving from an artist named Philip Thorn from British Columbia, 1970’s. Can anyone confirm?
I also have another piece from the set that I cannot find any info on. I am curious of the imagery. A mother image perhaps?
    Can anyone help me out?

I’m more concerned with what these are based on, than whether they are replicas or not. I’m looking for identifying names.

What makes you think these are from Thorn?

Above links look like the same items; in OP's photos, attached to a frame and backing, and "signed"
Very possibly Thorn items, the Thorn company used a variety of materials for their cast items, and there aren't any collector guides to such items; but when you've seen as many as Komo and I have, you can recognize them as castings rather than carvings.
Representing, as Komo said, an Eagle, and Bear-mother.

I found a picture of the exact carving online. It named it thunder bird by Thorn. I’m not claiming it to be accurate. I’m just trying to track down possible proper names for these images so I know personally what to name them when I look at them.
