Thinking of you today, was looking at antique handbags in an antique mall. One I took to the register had a price tag no one could figure out...dealer didn't answer his phone...sorry I didn't take a pic. But the lady at the register said it looked like $315- no handle, threads that connected to handle needed redoing. I am sure it will still be there when I go back, will take a pic then.

Went hunting today and found a clear glass sale, 50% off everything. I nabbed a decanter, took home the stopper and donated the decanter at another store. They had it priced $10. The "stopper" was a Kosta Boda owl!

Visited a relatively-new shop I hadn't seen yet. Knew the owner, he had a tub of jewelry he was sending to an auction...spent $25, here is some of what I got, no great shakes. Sterling moonstone earrings. Lumii_20230720_182320803.jpg

And while a broken piece, it resembles iris glass, but the colors in the stones change color as you move the piece.

Love the dress clip. The dangles seem like an unusual design.

I’ve got a little carved coral rose almost identical to that.

As you probably know Frederick Warne owns the copyright to all the Beatrix Potter characters, so I think this spoon might be an attempt to fool the buyer. I don’t think it’s Royal Doulton despite the RD as they appear to mark their spoons as Bunnykins and the ones I found are stamped out in one piece and silverplated.

This was part of the recent bling haul. Nice crossover with porcelain, hm.

Rosenthal did make some pendants for a while. Some had flowers on them too. No idea if they're worth any money, but they're pretty.

@Marko - yes, "natural material". Love the frame.

Back in my ebay buying days, I bought quite a few Rosenthal brooches that were modern design. Sold or gave away most of them. My Mom had a nice Royal Copenhagen modern pendant which I liked, but sold through consignment. I have some other fun brooches that I bought cheap on ebay way back when. I thought I might do one of the "pictures" with assembling the jewelery on fabric. The brooches are still packed away. :hilarious:

I love lion jewelry for my personal collection, and it sells well. This would be in my personal stash!

I didn't get up early for the estate sale that said jewelry went missing, but I did get there by 11 am. It wasn't busy, and I eas happy with my finds. Starting with the $2 table: bracelet by Michaela Frey, pierced leverback garnet earrings, base metal, carved coral rose earrings, maybe GF. Lumii_20230721_143117189.jpg Lumii_20230721_141222525.jpg

The lady was into Asian things...Chinese export ceramic beads, cloisonne, and vintage Chinese export turquoise. I almost left the turquoise there.

And....I spent money. I went around and around about this piece...clasp simply marked Japan, 30" of graduated knotted faceted smoky quartz in varying colors. $220. I would have regretted leaving it there.

Good move on those Chinese necklaces; you paid under 25% of retail, maybe way under.

The "big" expenditure was this 14k garnet dome ring, 37 garnets. I cleaned it, but I am seeing I need to tweezer it. $320. Lumii_20230721_144257688.jpg
