Featured Have I ever shown you this Napier cuff bracelet?

I thought I had, but when I looked for the thread, to see what people said, I couldn't find it.

Anyway, I've had this Napier cuff for years. Unfortunately, the day I brought it home, I let DGS try it on (he was much younger then), he dropped it on the slate floor, and one of the orange cabochons shattered. I had it repaired, but it was done badly, in my opinion.

I haven't been able to find one very similar over the years.

I believe this is from the 1920s, based on the style and the name stamp. It is plated, not in the best condition.

I believe in decent condition this would be worth quite a bit, but in its current state, what do you think?

Any and all comments and suggestions welcome.

It wants to be Native American turquoise and coral with sterling. I'd be thinking more 50s than 20s.

It’s lovely! I think these Napier cuffs sell very well. I’ve seen similar from £50-£150. Even damaged I think it would be desirable.

So I finally sent this bracelet off to Rhinestone Rosie. She did the best she could with it. She didn't have a matching cabochon but she filled the cracks in the bad repair, and she polished it.

Now I have two questions. Do you think that anyone would want to buy this, considering the wear? Will I be able to give it away? Thanks for your honest opinions.

1970s imitation stones on silverplate with plate loss
My sister and her friend would have bought it for $5 in 1975
They would have no interest in it now

And I’d push it to 60s design-wise but no earlier than 50s but I don’t know their stamps.

Nice find. I love it when you can narrow down a time frame on a piece. Somewhere in that 32 year span.
