I think this is coil formed. Help please

    Hi!
    This looks kinda wonky and I am thinking it’s from the latter part of the 20th century. Does anyone recognize the siggie or can you make out the letters? I see VM but…

    is this coiled pottery? What are some keywords for it. Any help is very much appreciated

    "Thrown" would be for a pot made on a potter's wheel. My partner here who has done pottery thinks it was thrown on a wheel and manipulated. The view inside the neck does look like a thrown vessel.
