LOL, I visited Robert the Doll while in Key West... nothing out of the ordinary occurred. :(

Wish I was getting 'Robert the Doll's' income.
Incidentally-Jennifer Tilly played Chuckie's bride. She was in an interesting movie-'Bound',a fine modern Film Noir.

Thanks Book-I think part of her bodies leather & some type of oilcloth canvas, she's 20" tall & has a white petticoat/slip/chemise (not sure terminology ?) that i took off her to get a better pic of her construction. The left arm at the elbow looks tied back on.
I haven't been able to find this exact code on the back of other Armand Dolls-but only did a perfunctory search.
Here's the mark on the back of the bisque head-

She does keep looking at me.I'm putting her very gingerly, very carefully back in her gilded cage.
'Ouch !'...there seems to be a tiny bite mark on my little finger..a bit of blood ? Of course,i don't beleive in that claptrap..of course not.

My personal reaction would be to get her deported and let her be someone else's headache. Or finger ache.

Known as an AM 370. Very popular play doll back in the day. If you google AM 370, or check eBay you will see lots of examples in various sizes and configurations.

The really strange new breed of large animated (animatronic) clown dolls/mannequins are extremely weird.I guess some folks think they're entertaining-me,not so much.

PS-I watch Roadshow & other antique telly programs, and occasionally they'll go to a doll collectors house crammed floor to ceiling with the things & i'm not really sure how this person has co-existed with these creatures for years on end ? Of course my home's filled with things-but they're not all staring at me !

That clown headvase is sitting next to an equally ugly Raggedy Ann headvase. I really need to toss them out, must have had them both for about 15 years.

Don't toss them together; they'll breed!
