Help! What are these marks?

    Personally I would lean toward China trying to imitate Native American. No NA jewelry i have ever seen has that "pitting" on the underside. If it is coral and turquoise it would be crushed and epoxied.

    They crush turquoise and mix it with epoxy and fill in the sections. They do the same thing with cracked wooden bowls.
