Featured Figural Wax Seal help please

I wonder if anyone can give me any information about this desk seal .
I’m thinking it is Chinese and silver but there are no hallmarks .
I’d love to know who the figure is representing and maybe how old it is ?

He may depict Fu Xing, one of the Sanxing (3 stars - Fu, Lu, Shou) deities of good fortune, prosperity and longevity. "Fu is often depicted as a scholar holding a scroll or surrounded by children". Your figure appears to be holding a scroll in his right hand.

I think the circular characters on the piece are the symbol for Fu - prosperity.

I have not been able to identify the more rectangular character.
