My hot water tank burst and this was discarded by mitigation.
The dimensions and company are shown on the first attachment.
My dad was a vietnam marine. I was unable to find anything out
about this. I saw a powers & co. pup pup tent from WWII that went
for $633. I have to make a claim to my insurance company and I
would like to know what this might be worth and is it from military.
Is this a modular command post system tent and how old do you think
this is? Thank you for information and price for my insurance claim on
    this tent.

I do not know for sure but I think an S.F. Duck was a military boat. This
could be a boat cover rather than a modular command post system tent.
I still could not find anything about it adn would like information on price
for my insurance claim. Thank you for assistance in this matter.
    Regards,
    Rob

I'm wondering if SF Duck is actually the material. Duck is a canvas like fabric and google tells me sf Duck is single fill Duck. Don't really know.

I did find a catalog for sale that has a few photos of some types of tents Powers made.

Also an auction with a tent but it may be the one you've seen.

Not very helpful I know. Sorry about your water damage. I had to do the same thing for insurance one time too and it was a challenge

I came across the book in my research while the worthpoint is new information to me. Yet, it does not provide me with a price for my insurance claim. I did not realize that s.f. duck was a single filled duck. I thank you for the information.

So mitigation replaced your water heater & left this behind (for some mysterious reason) ?

As usual your drawing the wrong conclusion. It was inherited by me from my dad when he passed away and it was in my basement. It was mine. I had to pay out of pocket for the replaced water heater because insurance does not pay for the item that caused the damage and no, they did not leave that behind. They laid it out to take pictures for insurance claim and then put it in plastic bag and took it back to their company to have it trashed. Your suspicions are wrongly motivated.

When did Powers & Co. in business go bankrupty or go out of business?
Is this a modular command post system tent and how old do you think
    this is? Thank you

I asked a military forum about this and one of its members responded as follows:
The Modular Command Post System came out is the early to mid 1990's and all the walls were the same size, 11'. Your tent says its size is 9' 10" By 12' 1", so that eliminates a Modular Command Post. The markings do not look like they have enough information to be military. (No stock number, date of manufacture, that sort of thing.)

Your dimensions are similar to a wall tent like those used in Scout camps.
