Featured All the single earrings

I bought these two pendants last week online and I got them home today.
There must be something wrong with me because I keep on buying (parts of) single earrings!
Because that is what I think these are.
The huge golden one is in my opinion part of a set earrings. You can clearly see the silver Croix Bosse (1793-1798) from Normandy that I already showed here is its family.
On the gold earring I think I can decipher the rams head mark (1819-1838) and the other mark must be a makers mark.
The second, smaller pendant that I bought is gold/silver and rose cut diamonds (oops, havent tested its metal content yet...just saw/tested the nice diamonds and I was happy). it also came from France.
It was sold as being Georgian but I have big doubts about that.
In my opinion it might date closer to the 1900s.
It has no marks so I just follow my gut feeling on that date.
Anyways, it was a good bargain so I bought it. (It needs a tiny repair on the bail).
In the last picture you can see part of my single earrings collection.
The green bow is a piece I already showed and the other one is part of a Flemish earring.

That round one looks Georgian to my eye.

Though not so elegant as yours, I too, have a collection of single earrings, lockets, and other miscellaneous dingle-dangles. At Christmastime they adorn my 24-inch faux tree, along with a string of tiny white lights.

OBB thank you, I m not used to backs like that.
Its closed but still much more open than I m used to with Flemish jewelry (flat backs mostly). And also the gold around the diamonds put me off...I m used to silver around diamonds for that era.

I used to wear 2 diff earrings when I was younger. I was a rebel without a cause. LOL

 

I see 18th century, and I love it, beautiful diamonds, especially the rose.

The only thing that's wrong with you is that you're a joolie. A proper joolie sees potential in every beautiful jool.

Mismatched earrings are a thing whenever you want it to be.

I used to as well. And three on each side, all pierced. I was a Christmas tree when I was younger.

A walking Christmas tree!
I wear earrings day and night. Only three though, not ears full of them.
But I m making up for it by wearing arms full of bakelite bangles when the weather and my mood are good.

 

And a lot of it was turquoise, so one of my friends called me the turquoise queen.

If you like hot weather bring out the bakelite bangles, it's tropical right now. I'm staying inside, much too hot for me. But I'm wearing gold creole torque earrings.

 

I just came home from the kringwinkel (thriftstore) with a very unusual find (out of my comfort zone) so I might do another post in a minute.

Bakelite, lucite, Lea stein...everything with bright colors will do for the moment
