Other Asian finds...

    I also grabbed these two today. I don't usually go for this moriage style but it is pretty big and quite magnificent. 25cm tall. The satsuma plate is quite cute also. 14cm

    The vase mark looks like a stylised Kinkozan, they did make items like this when in financial trouble prior to WW2 but I've not encounter that form of printed mark for them before.

    Saucer is possibly Nishikitani (left column). Center says Satsuma and the right is Great Japan.

    Gotheborg says kinkozan tsukuru, although without the made in Japan text included

    Tsukuru (aka Zo) just means made by.

    I was In a shop today looking at a Bequet Quaregnon vase and it reminded me of you. It was a fair price but it had a 3 inch hairline in the rim so I put it down and walked away.
