can someone translate this paper please!

A family has this paper and he wanted to know what it is exactly with translation.

The character set is quite limited & each of the 6 lines has 8 characters. Could these be numbers from a country where letters are used for numbers? Most of the characters could have come from the Hebrew alphabet, but the deltas & chis look like Greek. (Both use alphabetic numbers.) Kabbalah?

 

Yes, it does. I tweaked it a little to try and make it more legible.

 

Greek and Hebrew is not Kabbalah, that would be Hebrew only, but it does look esoteric.

 

It looks Greek to me, although my Koine Greek is more than rusty. Are you sure there is any Hebrew?

I don't know if there is Hebrew, but there are characters that look like gamma, & there are characters, many of them, that look like the mirror image of gamma. In the bit of Greek I know, there is no letter that is roughly the shape of 7, but Hebrew has several.

Looks like Coptic to me.

 

The fact that each line is the same length suggests to me that it might be in code; which also raises the possibility that it might not be any particular language, but a character set invented for that code - or worse yet, just a fantasy item. Could be based on Tolkien's runic alphabet, or almost anything.
As Fig and Bronwen mentioned, some info about origin, current location, and history would be helpful; otherwise I might be inclined to guess that it could be just a fantasy, created by a child or teenager for some role-playing game.
