bronze goose

was wondering if anyone had any idea what I found. Appears maybe car hood ornament by the screws underneath. Any insight will b appreciated. Thnks. About 5" by 5"

 

I'm going to say not an original hood ornament. I'm only seeing ones that look like this ...

If you looked at what @Roaring20s posted, look at the magazine cover, then look at the image to the left of it, or the page.....it's an image of YOUR DUCK!! I think!!! Never mind....I grabbed those two images.....the magazine says:
"Automotive Mascots" !!

The base on the one that Aquitaine found is very similar. The head and neck are different, though. The one in the magazine could be a duck, and the one posted by @Chris munoz looks like a goose (as mentioned in the original post), or even a swan.

 

OOOOH, @Figtree3, I stand corrected!! The bill/mouth in @Chris munoz's is closed as well!!! I was concentrating on the reeds design/styling in the base.........sorry!!!

 

Note the layering of the wing feathers both top and bottom.

 

The bases are very similar, though! No need to apologize! You do good work.
