Can anyone help with age and value please

I have attached pictures in file.

 

Help please on age and value not sure either what it actually is, just know it’s really old and has been in the family for years

 

Is it metal or pottery? picture of bottom would help.

 

Could be a lead garden piece,tho seems a bit small.Pewter,zinc,spelter ? More & Bigger pics please.

It is definitely some sort of metal

It stands about 20cm tall and 12cm wide

I was thinking maybe pewter? I have uploaded some more pictures I have tried looking online but can not find the exact same thing.

 

Does it have a tight-fitting lid? If so, I can think of one other use for it...

That is the only one that is similar to mine but the handles are lower down on mine. It’s frustrating as I can’t find it on line
