Statuette, elephant. Brass or bronze? India or Africa?

    It has nice detail to it and the trunk is up for good luck. I am no expert, but maybe brass?

    Is it signed on the inside of the Right Rear Leg??? Or is that just reflection? On second look, thinking just reflection..........

    The size of the ears is more like African elephants. But that doesn't mean it was made in Africa.
