    If you search for poinçons d'argent you get a lot of French site results that dont come up if you search in English. The answer maybe buried in there. Also perhaps search for 'tour' for tower or marques d'argent or monogrammes d'argent. Or a mix of all of these.

    This is the best photo I could get of the mark.

    It does look like two dice or a domino..... maybe!
    If only I could see an example of Jean Dupre's
    actual mark to be sure.
    Maybe the description of this mark in all the reference pages is wrong, and it's something else, not dice?
    I've seen that happen before.

    Well one side looks like it has 4 dots on it and there appears to be a faint dividing line. Dice is a rough translation and it just means one domino with a four on one side and one on the other.

    That boar's head is about the size of a mushroom spore! Almost impossible to see with the naked eye.
    Taken through a 20x loupe!

    Described as silvered metal... Signed... (But seller shows the signature upside down:bucktooth:)... Lacking the C clasp...

    I would probably throw up.:vomit: I always get nauseous when I see a real life cicada. Very odd reaction, but I can't help it.:confused: Fortunately you usually only hear them.;)
