Brass discs - what could they be?

I wonder if anyone knows what these are?
Solid brass, there are 12 larger ones, weighing 42g each (1.48oz), 40mm (1.57") diameter, and one smaller - 18g (0.63 oz), 26mm (just over 1") diameter. They are ~4mm thick.
The larger ones - two sets of six - are marked with numbers 1 to 6.
1,2, and 3 are otherwise plain; 4, 5, and 6 have concentric lines. The smaller one has no marks. They are all identical on both sides.

I don't know where they came from, just unpacking years of accumulations...

Interesting - got me searching "brass playing discs"......
Any chance of them being "Toad in the Hole" playing pieces? (Brass Toads).

Here is a set of 4 that are about the size of yours..... 39mm/1.54"

Thank you all for the suggestions - I'd never heard of the Toad in the Hole game... Following Rayo56's search, I have found out what they are - they are for playing a game called Vendéen Palet: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vendéen_Palet - and here is a set for sale - 12 discs and one smaller, the 'jack' : https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/set-of-12-brass-vendeen-discs-1-jack/_/R-p-311802?mc=8558268
This makes sense - we lived in France for 25 years and must have acquired/accumulated them there!
Thank you all for pointing me in the direction of game pieces - they could have been anything!
