Ok, they were marked for the 30’s. I wondered about that because what war would it be?

That’s George VI, so they’re no earlier than 1937. Ww2.

Re: marketing these as WWII Trench Art-Kiwi divisions fought in many battles, esp Crete,Greece & Italy w/ the Allies.
Even though there wasn't much classic 'trench warfare' in WWII (as in WWI)-can't see how it's be a 'bustable' offense to put it in yr title/description.
PS-It's an 'art form' aka '1990's MCM (style) furniture'.Not manufactured from 1946-1965 ,but has all the attributes of the era's style.
You could say 'WWII Trench Art' to cover yourself

With these puns, you two are really dating yourselves, that's gotta get lonely. But then again-what does it really fignify ? It's all so fruitless !
PS-You wanna get some real attention on the Bay-list it as 'WWIII Trench Art'.

Kind of a scary thought since it seems to be looming around the corner.

The only thing I can say about these Florins is between 1937 and 1946 they were 50% silver after that they were copper-nickel.

These two don't look silver, the first one looks like it has been resilvered and its flaked off, unless something has happened during the soldering process.
I doubt they were made during wartime as Two Shillings was a substantial amount of money back then, not to be squandered.
