Some unusual things I found today at a local thrift store that I need help with.
An ashtray with a deco looking dog handled cover - it has a faint mark on the bottom that looks like a horse drawn carriage; does anyone know who made this?

a antique metal bed pan - I found similar that said 1800s pewter, but mine feels like metal + the big ring on the screw top - a military hospital bed pan?

A geometrical painting in need of a cleaning who I already have a buyer in mind (a friend who loves these types of paintings) - can anyone help me with the artist's name?

    Thank you for any information!

Stylized wolf hound. Very 1930s Deco.

I wish it was by Erte! Any idea what company used a carriage in their logo? (because if anyone can find it, it's Debora!)

There are letters underneath the carriage.

You can worry it into looking like the Fisher logo. Could be a promotional thing from GM.

I'm not sure the cover goes with the ashtray.

It looks like a good fit to me, though unusual. But you could be right.

What else would it be a lid for?

A cloche for a small plate of food maybe? Butterdish?

I thought it was a travel ashtray & cover to keep smoke/smell from bothering others?

I'm not sure it's a bed pan, maybe a hot water bottle?

I think that bed pan is converted from a hot water bottle. You can see on the interior edges of the hole how irregular it is lit it was cut out and bent inward. Reduce - Reuse- Recycle lol
