Annotated Lanton Hill, St Nicholas Church. By Carlton China, the hill is Lantern Hill, the building still exists in Ilfracombe. Crest of Ilfracombe to side.

Have been able to trace Goss and Arcadian models, but not this one

I really like the Kitchener "In Memoriam" match box cover.

I'd just say 'of typical oval form with fluted body and beaded edge,'
The makers may have had a name for this but I have never heard of one being used.

The style is a George V version of a Victorian version of a Georgian design.

It was one of the things that made us bid on the auction lot, even though we buy to sell it's nice to have, if only for a short while

Um, that would be Adam, not Adams. Unless it was short for the Addams Family style.

My best find recently didn't make it home. I spent $40 on jewelry yesterday. Today, I was hauling clothes and some et ceteras to the donation bin for a clothes closet my church runs once a month. It's all given away. Sticking out of a box today was what looked like a silverplated bowl. I was raised by cats, and picker that I am I pulled it out just in case. Yep - sterling. Right to the scrapper; I got my $40 back. Gotta love it when that happens.

Good spot! Yes, it is marked Wemyss, I think it's the Jazzy pattern but haven't researched it yet

Is it big enough for a coffee mug? I've been known to use a beer mug.

It looks to be about 1 pint capacity, that's a sure fire caffeine hit!

That's about right! I could use one that size right now; I went to bed at 1:30 and woke up about 6. Idiot body strikes again, and I got to the estate sale late anyway, because they opened early darnitt. Didn't get much.
