I can see at least one of the brush strokes has been mislabeled as going from right to left, but in fact, this is not the case in the blue paint. "I" goes left to right, "II" goes left to right, "III" goes on top. I cannot see the purple one well enough.

Yaya has been around well over a decade, perhaps better organized since Hurricane Katrina, it is a youth organization. They've produced hundreds, if not thousands, of vintage painted chairs. I am not insisting yours is a yaya, suffice to say, there's a lot of old paint laying around and a lot of old chairs to be painted. Picasso often painted in 'series' so you should be able to find these "triangles" in his work in a whole series he has done and the circa or period of the piece.

yes i did miss direction and have since corrected it i find he did a lot of stuff reverse but i don't know if it was on purpose or not up hand stroke verses a down hand on the dora maar sample , you do realize that the pictures i'm posting are split screen the dora maar woman with bird hd photo from the net on the left ,and my chair on the right , you can see the line down the middle . this is two different painting coming together , they match together perfectly like a jigsaw puzzle ,like there is no line down the middle i have also noticed that there is no purple hair under the hat , but it isn't supposed to be a copy it's it's own with many different things from woman with bird , i'm taking close up picks better than the pros i hired , like nicks says i have to take them myself so i can get what i need I'm taking pictures of every inch of it documenting exact matches to other picasso's , i just jumped the gun and now i have to recoup the ball , then i also wonder why one eye is cut off before it comes around to the back and the other one goes all the way around , why , did they run out of paint ,no, and when looking at it from an angle the picture becomes whole DSC08979.JPG DSC09192.JPG DSC08984.JPG DSC08987.JPG
i will take or find a pic to show you what i mean got company .

remember that these are split screen, i'm going to fit one inside the other to become a single picture ,it's like magic lol

This chair/art topic is certainly most interesting, my 1951 Audrey Hepburn is keeping a close eye on this thread. (Actually this is a later print produced from the original negative, it does have Milton Greene’s stamp on the reverse though)

Close scrutiny is good in any authentication process, I know from personal experience in authenticating some of my vintage original photo collection.

That’s interesting, a lot depends on the artist & music on the 78, ( much like any record). I usually just go by if I like it, it’s a collectors item to me in my heart. Although I do have a keen eye out for something a lil rare and valuable too lol

I'm kinda glad records are hard to find, because I would be like a record hoarder lol every room filled with albums (not just me ) , it's natural progression to end them and switch to cd's , so you can store more in less space (i have about 3 to 4 hundred cd'''s) now they stopped making them, mp3's are even smaller and takes up even less space but remastering isn't that good ,but is very convenient .

I was raised to be open and never judge people or situations until you understand, my Mom & Dad instilled this me. So I think amazing things can happen & appear anywhere, even Picasso chairs.

this picture are the prints i had checked out by an ex cop (law enforcement hehehe) but he thinks they might be glove smear marks but can't prove it .
I think it's where it was touched to turn it on a pedestal while painting it .i had it on a pedestal also when i first got iit ,and was watching a vid at you tube saying that he liked to leave his prints in his art , so i took a flashlight and a magnifying glass and went to look , as soon as i pushed it in the exact same finger spots, i felt them , and was excited till i found out they are not useable. that would have cinched it lol
DSC06870.JPG IMG_4140 - Closeup.jpg nice patina huh this is how it looks close up , and like i just finished painting it when you step back a few feet

Scientists Uncover Pablo Picasso's Chemical Fingerprint in Breakthrough Study. ... “This chemical fingerprint is unique to the painter and allows us to characterize him. It is not only about the materials used but also about traces, which for example give us clues about where Picasso bought his pigments.Jan 6, 2016
