    Any information as to what style these represent? I've asked 3 antique store owners and they all had a different opinion + I myself have a 4th one...

    Thanks for the information, the whole 'antique grotesque' element is very fascinating.

    People elsewhere have suggested the following styles:

    - Rococo revival
    - Early art nouveau
    - Neoclassical
    - Empire

    What about Victorian gothic revival?

    While cleaning up I just noticed that some of the parts of these sconces have a stamp "143".
    What does that mean?
