I do not think there is anything there older than the 1950s.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

My only contribution is that I think the lady was painted @1960... short blonde Italian/cap-style hair, delicate little gold watch, mid-length pearls and exaggerated bateau neckline.

That second minor in fashion is finally coming in handy.

Looks like a nice rock on her finger!

I think it would be fun to buy old portraits... well, just the attractive or interesting ones... and collect a hall of "ancestors". You could make up names and funny histories. This could either be a fun hobby, known to all, or a great deception to impress your in-laws. In this case, this would have been my lone white great-aunt whose blonde hair and fair skin was gobbled up by a few generations of Mexican genes. She was an American spy during the cold war, specializing in smuggling micro-chips hidden in her garter-belt.
Wait, did they have micro-chips then?

I agree with 1950s or '60s for the first one. The second looks like late '60s or '70s to me, and the third painting I think has a '40s or '50s look.

To my eye, the second painting is the most interesting.

My mother hung photos of her ancestors in our hallway, and at the top middle of the display she put a tribal mask and said he was the head of the family. :)

    Hi,
When I was going to school and poor, I hung empty frames on the wall. Then I put note cards under the frame saying. On loan to such a such federal art collection or the MET. One I had a friend engraved with On loan to Elizabeth the Queen.

Are none of these signed? I doubt we can help much without a signature. I do think they are fairly well done. I particularly like the last one. Without any signatures, value is minimal.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

The first one looks like a colored/tinted photograph to me. -- A photo of Gila's great-aunt who was a spy! ;)

    Wouldn't be impossible....
A friend's daughter told me she wanted to learn to shoot a pistol because she wanted to be a spy. No one would take her shooting so I did at an indoor range. She was pretty good right off .
Long ago now but I often wonder.......
