Old-looking mirror: did I just blow $75?

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Picked this up at a house- sale... yes, you people have started me going to house sales now.
Anywayyy... this looks old to me; I recall learning that multi-paned, raised metal-on-wood could mean age and quality.
It's about 13 x 25 inches. Obviously wooden back, with non-magnetic metal (looks like brass but has shiny coppery spots).
I can't find any marks anywhere.
The mirror's edges are raised and angular... kinda prism-y... see the last photo... that's the best I can do.
It looks a bit like the fabulous giltwood old mirrors, but the metal covering is obviously a thin sheet of molded or hammered or shaped metal.
It interested me enough to buy it and learn more about old mirrors! Googling now! Hmmm... looks like a beat-up version of this!!!!!! Baroque?

    Thoughts, please?

I '''think''' its a Mexican tin framed mirror slightly gone to rust ? It does look like it has some age. Maybe you overpaid a little ? It is decorative though,I like the slight roughness.

I think it is modern and made to look old. Maybe from Mexico or even India. I think you paid less than original retail so, if for yourself, you did OK. If buying to re-sell, I don't see a whole lot of room left.
