    hi,
Moved into my current home in 1996. Was up in my attic earlier today and found a small box with these items in it. Guessing thats counts as a “find” (no vacumm store jokes @Any Jewelry ;)). Must have been left behind by a previous owner.

No real value here but they have a little age it seems. The salt&pepper seem to come from the 40’s-50’s https://www.etsy.com/nz/listing/581464143/vintage-kitschy-1940s-1950s-artkaul

and the GOEBEL kitten seems vintage too.https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-CE...nGHYNG6FvM%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc

The glass(no idea what it says) is marked W.Germany. Chinese men with feather looking like a real souvenir

11 kitties all in all. Anyway,

Now I want to go back up and dig some more :)

@johnnycb09 - I think that bowl is from Chile. They made a ton of metalwork at one point.

I get a monthly newsletter from the Senior Center in town.... this time I noticed an interesting article in it.....thought some of you might want to be on the lookout....unless you already know of it as a potential source!!!!

The bowl has "Industria Argentina" on it. "Made in Argentina" (not Chile)

The sheep fairing is a recent copy, I'm afraid.

I just love them, they are 6" high, 13" long and 7" wide. So a respectable size and as a pair they look great in my living room atop a bookcase. The wheels are on axles and the front doors open. I know nothing about them as they have no marks, they are made of pine. Hand made, I can find nothing online suggesting they were manufactured in numbers so I'm guessing scratch built. No idea of date but they do have flathead screws holding the axle carriers which I doubt would be used by choice in the last 30-40 years. I believe they are some semblance to Model A delivery vans. The signage is hand painted as is the suggestion of back doors. Therein lies my lack of any real useful information and hours of googling has turned up nothing. (Except one US company that creates bespoke objects similar for advertising campaigns, which is a possibility)

That's it really, I guess what makes them so great was the price. £40 would not buy much here in the UK that I could put atop my bookcase, never mind a pair. Given the other items that came in the lot are going to resale for a few hundred pounds I am positively beaming with my find.

Paid £5 ($4) for the 2inch diameter locket. Picking it up in the box I could see the plating was coming off, plus I thought who would wear this monster except Mr T, and when the seller said £5 I put it down, there were other buyers milling around at the sale, none seemed interested, after 5 minutes I picked it up again, turned it over to see the faint outline of the passant lion under the plating so I bought it. Found the receipt was under the lining when I got home. Not sure about the metal on the bracelet, no marks but well made, there’s just 925 on the chain and turquoise pendants bale. Bone brooch was 50 pence. RAF kings cap badge was £1 from the car boot.

I can't see the date on the receipt without thinking what happened 25 years later. :( But very handsome locket.
