Pottery Plate Help

    Good morning. Hoping someone can read the mark. Not sure what the design is either. I see an angel, or bird or? Thanks for any help at all.

    It looks like the word DAY at the very top of the plate at 12 o'clock.
    I can see the name Inga, maybe for the first name. You could try rubbing some white chalk down into the recesses of that incised signature and see if it brings out any better.

    That was it! Thank you. I searched Inga Pottery on ebay and found Inga Bow.
