14k gold earring?

    Evening everyone. Quick ? These earring are marked 14k on the wires but there's no marks on the dangly part.. but looks like a tiny diamond chip.. any ideas if it's all gold?

    It's not so uncommon for otherwise 'fashion' earrings to have 14K or sterling wires/posts because many people cannot tolerate base metal in their piercings.

    Wouldn't those have vermeil wires? Earrings are not always marked on all parts.
    Best have the dangles and the stones tested.

    This is quite true. My terse, wee hours comment was only to say that you cannot validly conclude that because the wires are marked 14K, other metal parts will be of equal quality.
