    A drinking cup eh?? Lol wow I never would have guessed you would use such a thing to consume liquid, that is the most fascinating thing I've heard of in ages.

    Yeah there's no markings on it and yeah it looks like it is a Julip Cup, those dishes belonged to my late grandmother who lived in Kentucky for most of her life .

    Well, there you go. It's even got your family initial on it. Given you family's geographical history, I'm a bit surprised you did not recognize it.

    BTW it's likely to be silver plated. (Not guaranteed, but I think good odds.)

    Oh yus. After a break of three weeks, five car boot sales this weekend. Fly was more than I'd normally pay, but I think it's fab. The amethyst and pearl bracelet was about 70 cents. Modern, but nice. Wee art nouveau brooch about two dollars. The matt gold pieces are museum replicas of Colombian bits, chap was closing down his business.
