    Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    It's a lovely and unusual brooch. Definitely a good conversation piece, as shown here. Since neither @Ownedbybear nor @bosko69 's Lady know what plant it is depicting for certain, I would go with fantasy piece.

    I googled flowering plants that look like ferns!
    Maybe something like this Woodland Poppy from Japan?

    I can see the controversy on that one. A PAPAVER? Nah.

    I was thinking the curls looked like emerging dryopteris. Unless it’s a berserk dicentra.
