Bought it at a flea market for a couple of bucks. it has a # 8 where the handle meets the pan. And has a gate mark on the bottom and there are 4 "buttons" on the bottom as well.

I don't date skillets. Iron Men are just not my thing.

On a serious note, your pictures are too small, Hozhed.

I will try to resize, again. I don't know why there is such a limit on file sizes here, and I am a member of many forums

"Gate marked bottoms are often an indication of late 18th or 19th century production, however, use of the technology continued into the 20th century on large format pieces like sugar kettles long after the majority of cookware had move to side gating. " taken from The Cast Iron Collector

There is a file size but not nearly as small as your pics are! Your pics are only:

    1. Weight-wise: 19.6 KB; Dimension-wise 90px wide X 160px high
    2. Weight-wise: 40.6 KB; Dimension-wise 220px wide X 123px high

Gee, pictures can be posted up and probably bigger than
    Weight-wise: 500 KB; with Dimension-wise 800px wide X 800px high

Also the fact your pics are in the graphic format of *.png type files causes them to be heavier/more complex weight-wise and may cause some computer browser graphics not to be able to view them. The best graphic format for posting images is *.jpg. Here are examples of jpg formatted pics I posted that are:
    Weight-wise 71.KB; Dimension-wise 361px wide X 650px high.

I have now taken the liberty of converting your images to jpg graphic format and scaling them *up* in size. The enlarging/scaling up in size has cause them to be blurry, but it gives you a good idea on the size and weight differences between png and jpg graphic formats. Even though they are bigger dimensional-wise they are lighter weight-wise. They are now:

    1. Weight-wise 14.6 KB; Dimension-wise 533px wide X 357px high.
    2. Weight-wise 9.5 KB; Dimension-wise 270px wide X 480px high

I believe there is something on the bottom of the pan. Possibly a big triangle with a company's logo, company initials, ??? in it. Here are enlarged, zoomed in, views of the bottom. Hopefully someone can make out the lettering.

The combo image (includes a reversed/negative image) is 33.6KB and 384px wide X 600px high.
