Excellent eye as always Anun - I think that's worth 2-300x the 3 bucks you paid.

    O Captain! My Captain!

Technically, he's my first captain. Not my favorite. May not make my top three favorite captains. I'd have to think about that.

    But always my first.

    I've said too much.

Likely I would think, the bail is brass btw.
I once left a big victorian egg yolk necklace at the carboot, she wanted £20, as soon as I put it down a known jewellery dealer grabbed it and paid her straightaway. Oh dear, ignorance isn't bliss!

He was lovely, he usually got all the girls and deserved to really. None of my schoolies 'liked' any of the others much but one girl really went for Spock and said the lovely Captain was fat! Ooh......there were some arguments over that!

I was always a Mr Spock girl too. Smart beats blonde any day in my book.

I’m in the process of driving from California to Texas. I’ve got 1 husband, 1 angry conure and 2 chubby toddlers in the car. We are leaving this state but I talked the husband into stopping at my favorite thrift shop, found this Taxco sterling bracelet for $5. One last goodie before we are gone for good. :shy: 2D9CBD8F-D9AE-47EA-9855-E7DEEF861BEA.jpeg BDD816CE-ADAA-4EDB-9354-A1FE2080365A.jpeg

As I mentioned in another thread, I was a total Spock fan. :vulcan:

Even watching it way back then, I found the Captain's writers too "boys-will-be-boys-wink-wink-nudge-nudge."

I always felt Spock wouldn't have tolerated emotional earth women. As for blonde, Kirk was the only one to have figured out the Kobayashi Maru test!

That's because you didn't understand him.

    Not like I did.

    Kirk cheated.

I think the 3d chess games with Spock would have got pretty tedious, and he wouldn't have liked it that you got annoyed when he beat you every time.
As for cheating....more like reprogramming and alls fair in love and war and he had to defeat Khan!!!

HE is my #1 favorite Captain.

I am beside myself with glee about Star Trek: Picard.

Like transporter error beside myself. :joyful::joyful:

Not in pristine condition but I thought this Cincinnati Royals duffel bag was a good find for a NBA team that left Cincinnati for the west coast in the early 1970's. Memorabilia for the Royals seems to be really scarce and difficult to locate and I was only able to find one other example online of this promotional bag sponsored by Marathon Oil.

Hmmm, think I preferred the first Khan, he was in his 60s and his physique was really impressive.

Going from memory, Ricardo Montalban? He did at least have an accent that made it easier to suspend disbelief in the name Khan.

Googling, I'm coming up with lots about the movie Khan; didn't he also play the role in an episode of the TV show?
