Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

UP WITH NOTHING/ CORRECTION....finally came up with a Google page of old wooden Ice boxes.....whilst I'm looking for "ADVERTISING" for old Ice Boxes made by BALLOU, JOHNSON & NICHOLS CO., Providence, RI....so far the Google page is ALL I have!!!

What I DO have is a Folding AD card for what I'm posting about, and IF I can find anything want to try to chase down to see if it has any worth......so far haven't seen anything like it!!! Posted below, any and all thoughts are welcome, and as always, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! The very last sliced image is what the VERY BOTTOM of the back says in tiny print!

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

You didn't give dimensions but it looks like a very fancy trade card. They are very collectible in their own right. It doesn't matter who the merchant was. Usually these were preprinted and sold to companies who were either selling a product or just wanting to advertise their business. The business name could be printed on by the seller or by the company itself. This is an exceptionally nice and unusual one.

I think that artist did many postcard illustrations as well as trade cards. Unless that is just a style many used.

These are completely different cards, but here are some Sold on eBay that have "refrigerator" in the title. I had less success with ice box, although the URL for this search indicates that was searched also. Yours is very unusual because of the folds! I hope the link works for you. My search was "refrigerator" trade card. The second one on the list says it is a "pop up" card. I haven't looked closely to see what they are talking about.
