Hello everyone - I spent a lot of time researching this as EAPG vase but now I'm pretty sure it's cut. It's 5 1/2" tall. Does anyone recognize it? I'm trying to estimate age. No ringing sound when tapped. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I don't think it is ABP cut glass.

    I'm thinking more 1950ish.

Pattern is Strawberry and Fan. Made by many companies both cut glass and pressed.

The notches are often referred to as Notched Prism.

    Nice little vase.

Should clarify - these are the notches.

    Glad I'm able to help.
However, keep in mind I'm not always correct. You need to verify what you're told here on the boards.

Thank you cluttered. That makes a lot of sense and explains why I couldn't fit it into either EAPG or ABP. Will explore strawberry and file. Much appreciated!

Thanks for the correction. Sometimes my mind is thinking one word but my silly fingers type another! :wacky:

At least you don't have to go back and correct your spelling.
I find I'm typing phonetically rather than the way the word should be spelled. It's starting to irritate me.

And actually the notches could be described as File. Seems to me that used to be a descriptive.
