    I have loved antiques and grabbed what interested me without caring much about value; I bought or inherited what I loved and could afford. It's now time for me to downsize and I also have dozens and dozens of items from 3 households (mother-in law; mother from Algiers, Aunt from Switzerland and Morocco) that have been waiting for someone else to love again.
    It's important for me to honor the things they loved by passing them on so they are loved again. It's also scary to think that I'll give away a valuable piece - I have limited decorator or antiquing knowledge. I'm hoping this site and forums will help me learn.
    I posted a question and am unsure if anyone will see it, however, it's fun to start learning how to navigate this site. I've already enjoyed the few conversations I read.

    It's exciting so far. I might get lost in the posts and stop sifting through boxes, which will not sit well with my husband. I'll have to be mindful and set some goals. Thanks for reaching out.

    I was wondering about that too. All I see mentioned are a mother from Algiers, an aunt from Morocco and Switzerland. Sounds like mostly North Africa, but 'from' suggests they are no longer there. So where Sea is living?

    Of course I am secretly hoping Sea will post some gorgeous North African jewellery....:hungry::)
