    Is this a Thonet chair?
    I can't find this chair in Thonet's catalogs. Catalogs of 1886, 1906, 1914.
Could it be that this model was not included in the Thonet catalogs?
Judging by the markings, it was made for Russia since 1885.
One friend says that the front legs and back of this chair are not native. He is right?

Welcome, @sashaskrinya , I see you have trouble posting photos. You probably have to resize them to below 1mb, preferably 640 x 480k.:)

Here's some useful tips on photo posting on this site courtesy of member Aquitaine -

"Here's a bit of help....if you plan on staying on this WONDERFUL site with TONS of EXPERTISE, you may want to copy and paste this, !!!!

For Future reference, when posting images:

Try emailing them to yourself as "medium" size, they should then be under 1 MB!

Each image MUST be UNDER 1 MB....
There are instructions on site here on how to reduce the size of your image, if that is the problem......you are allowed up to 10 images per post!!! Here are some links to the instructions:

    If on the computer:
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/posting-a-thread-and-uploading-pictures.15990/

    If on an iPhone:

And if on an Android phone:

As an added note, when you have your photos LISTED, but BEFORE you hit POST, please click on the wording that says to "POST EVERY IMAGE FULL SIZE" !! That way, we're not clicking on little thumbnails, but get to see all of the images full sized!! Thanks! Remember, it takes a bit for MOST new members to get the hang of it, but it's really quite simple once you get used to it!!!" AND, WELCOME BACK!!! I think you'll enjoy it here!!:happy:

They also look different to me. For instance, the legs were usually curved, so called bentwood, and no turned details. And I don't recall inlaid panels on Thonet furniture.
It is a very nice chair though.

    I will 'tag' some furniture people for you: @verybrad , @Ghopper1924 , @Jeff Drum .:)

I’d say it was either made by Thonet for export or made in Eastern Europe with Thonet design input. I’ve never seen anything like this before…kind of a hybrid.

Legitimate Thonet chairs were made for many decades, so not surprising that their ideas might diffuse over time and distance. I’d keep it as a novelty for sure…very cool!

Agree with Ghopper. Classic cafe chair. Variation made for export or foreign under license from Thonet. I see nothing wrong with the legs.

That's a super chair. I think the Russian connection adds to it.

Thonet made hundreds of models and offered options for backs, seats, legs, etc. so it can be hard to find exact matches. Based on some brief research I'd guess your chair is from 1910-1920 and a version of models 760-763. Here's good site that discusses a Russian language label like yours, used from 1881-1919 they say.

I found some more photos of a similar chair in St. Petersburg.
But that's all there is for now. The owner said there are no more photos :(
