The one on the left is by Ed Walkus, "Allison Harbour 1942."
It is a wonder. You don't see much by him.
Yes, the Hunt, and the Joe Peters Jr. mask, might as well have been a gift.
    :sorry:

    I thought you'd like them.
I'm not posting any pics of the other rooms. Or the other side of this room....

    OK......
But, even aside from that one addiction, why does stuff accumulate so much? I still have stuff that was my Mom's when she was alive. Leathercraft tools. I don't do leathercraft.
Valentines sent to my Mom in third grade. OK, those are worth keeping....
    I have great-aunt Zelda's bloomers in a trunk somewhere.

Thanks so much for the tour through your "gallery," Steve! I'd cringe at the thought of having to dust in there, though. ;)

Along with some old letters and such from/to my Dad, mostly people I have have never heard of, I have ONE baby shoe that *might* have been his, and ONE ladies glove that I *think* may have belonged to an early girlfriend of his.
    sigh . . .

    Dust?

But yes, some people don't save anything, others save it all.
It is sad to have very little.

But to save old underwear for 100 years is a little much.
Mom, or her Mom, put it in a trunk, with a hand-written label, "Belonged to great-Aunt Zelda." and a bunch of other stuff.
And I kept the whole trunk.... :bucktooth:

They might be a big seller to me if the "right" 100 year old was still in them................

I just got around to pitching my high school graduation cards.(LOL) My kids have four feet and meow, and no one else will ever want them. Now to plow through the other 35 million tons of junk.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

After a childhood of... cars, bikes and parts covering the yards... 6 kids growing up in a 3 bedroom (one bathroom) house... my sainted mother running a laundry business in the living room, and a tamal business in the kitchen...

I'm a very minimalist lifestyler, interior-decoration-wise. Sparse on furniture, many bare walls (I get nervous if there's more than one focal point per room). The only exception is my messy "studio" which is quarantined into a corner of the family room (pictured). I throw anything out if it isn't used in six months. So I am the OTHER end of the "storing/hoarding" continuum. I wind up re-buying stuff and not having stuff I need, and ticking off people, but...

    I can't help it.

loco-rico - If that is what you call messy, DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER STEP 1 FOOT INTO MY OFFICE OR MY GARAGE / EBAY PACKING AREA / STORAGE UNIT ( I really shouldn't call it a garage because it has never had a car in it even once :p:jawdrop::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:). My office is somewhat respectable, but the other is totally out of control. :arghh::arghh::arghh::arghh:
