If it is lucite, late 1940s.

There was pearlized celluloid, though. And you mention flaking-- that would give a much earlier date.

The wood frame is pre-WWII so odds are it's celluloid.

Sorry, I just realised I asked you questions about it without attaching the rest of the photos:rolleyes:.
It’s entirely metal not wood as far as I can see.

It's still pre-WWII, but now I'd say 30s. Someone else may know better.

I'm with @Marko on that Sindy. A gentle clean of the body, leave the frock be.

So this is nice. Carved lava beads, with what the seller called amber, but I think isn't. 1920s or 30s I suspect.

Also nice. No age, but for twenty dollars it's mine. Silver. Ammonite.

And.... a mere six dollars. A modern Kit Heath Celtic cross on a really nice Italian 1970s chain.

I'd have jumped on the cross too. Not sure about the carved lava.

Agree, but if it is Amber I'd restring the Amber beads with something prettier. The carved lava is just a bit odd.

Now, see, I like the lava, and bought it for that. I like weird. ;) It's got some serious age, too.
