Brass Bird Trinket Box

I have a faint recollection that this may been on here before but a search didn't turn up anything. It's a little trinket box made of brass with bird on top, cold painted I think. One the inside is a little square of sheet music. It's a pretty little thing 1 1/2" square. How old do you think it is? No marks on it. Thanks for looking.

 

I checked your threads just in case (extra pair of eyes), but this is your first thread about this very cute trinket box.

Thats very sweet . Knee jerk is its a regular pill box someone gussied up. Id have bought it.

 

Thanks johnnycb09. I don't think anything was added. I found another one currently listed on ebay and it looks exactly like the one I have with the same embellishments (plus a dried rosebud inside). I am trying to find out its age but not having any luck.
