Hi Everyone! My name is Louise Thompson and I live in Stoney Creek Ontario. I am a French Teacher. I am from Montreal originally and I have so many interesting antiques that belonged to my late Parents. I cherish them and at the same time, am curious to perhaps find out the value of these articles and furniture. I have a Weber New York upright piano that is a work of art with all very elaborate cupid carvings. I am looking forward to seeing other member's treasures!

    Greetings, Louise! :)

I remember very little of my High School French, but this one phrase sticks in my mind ... "c'est ne pas un picnic d'idiots"
Which was said to us .... a LOT!

I couldn't stand it any more... The name of your town was flitting about my brain and I didn't know why. There was quite the battle in the war of 1812. Stoney Creek Ontario has preserved that area.
I saw and love the waterfall nearby too. :)
