I feel I am playing the game 20 questions. My next guess. The art work is the disk, which appears to be about the size of a coin. It has the image that resembles Picasso's Personnage (enfant) on one side, & the identifying information on the other. The remainder is a little stand/base, from which the disk can be removed. Am I getting any closer? We are seeing 2 separate pieces? Does it stand upright? Or does the disk lean on the other part? Is the other part solid or hollow? Is it closed or open on the end we have not seen?

We are trying to gather accurate descriptive words we can use to search the Internet. Do you know what the metal is? Brass, bronze...? Currently we have only the photos to use.

in science and technology: relating to the permanent deformation of a solid without fracture by the temporary application of force.

I think OP is using 'plastic' in the way anund's definitions describe it. Better English word might be 'casting'. I also think OP has given up on us.

I'm not cutting him loose. I just think we are spinning our wheels unless more info is provided & I sensed impatience with our inability to immediately tell him who signed their Picasso-esque work 'A'.

I sensed a non english speaker frustrated trying to convey ....or get his meaning across....
& we never spin our wheels here because we all learn from each thread....not just the OP !!:happy:

I believe I have taken that into account:

Well, if I spend time/effort continuing to research when info provided is inadequate to make any further progress, I feel I am spinning my wheels. So far I have learned that when Jivvy reads 'Picasso Personnage' she does not think of the funny little sculpture.

I’m glad you returned! I am having trouble to understand the function of this piece. If a sculpture by itself, surely it should stand someway? Maybe it’s a part of something else?

    Hello
it's just such a work of art. It has no function. Do you know the artist, sculptor, name, monogram.
That's the important thing. Otherwise nothing like mine.
