best find of the day for me, a sweet pair of cats wall art, an Original American Art Creation, 11" x 28". Have just started to wipe the years of nicotine off them, they will be killer when cleaned (last photo shows with some cleaning):)

Just picked these 18k pince nez glasses for $28. In an antique shop, love the shape of the case.

Was able to buy this large 24" diameter leaded glass shade from another dealer for $75.00. Not sure what I am going to do with it but too good of a bargain to pass up.

Brad, the Japanese lamps are my favorite.
    Cxgirl, I love those cats.
    Anundverkaufen, wow on those glasses!

I am making some progress dejunking my husband's pool room. My corner desk is cleared off, and I put my $4 thrift shop lamp on it. I am thinking Chinese in design? I think it is a 3 way switch, I stuck a 100 watt bulb in it.
Thank you! You good wishes brought me luck at the thrift shops today!

i think the universe is rewarding me. I took my second car load of stuff I don't use to a little Catholic charity thrift shop yesterday, and they were very grateful. Before I brought everything in, I bought a lot of jewelry for a dollar each. TS July 10 2 (600x640).jpg
The bracelet is Renoir, the dangling earrings in the center all have semi-precious stones. The cat brooch and musical brooch were from another TS, $3 each.

The brass earrings have semi-precious stones (except for the opaline, $1.) The elephant ivory 18" strand was $2. The Thomas Singer sterling earrings and the Art Deco cubist sterling elephant brooch were $2 each. I am posting the elephant brooch under the Jewelry board- have questions. One of my snooty thrift shops missed the faux turquoise sterling brooch/pendant, $3, marked VO.

    TS July 10 2019 1 (640x588).jpg
My favorite piece was this guy who reminds me of Charley Tuna. I got to this thrift shop right after a woman bought almost all the jewelry they had just put out. Can't win 'em all.
