1947 Pacific Stars & Stripes 2nd Anniv. Edition

This is from my uncle's estate; he was in Japan from mid-1945 to late-1951 or so; almost the entire occupation period.

I have scoured the 'net with diligence for any indication of the like...with No Joy. Nary a single mention of this issue having been offered or sold have I found, including Worthpoint. I profess no expertise in such historical ephemera, but I do want to sell it...and believe it has more than casual value. I willingly submit my ignorance to your examination, hoping for at least a clue about how to proceed. Thanks for lookin'!

 

Suggest Ebay with keywords in the title.

 

Yup...been there, done that. Same with sold listings. Nada.

 

Check out other papers with that date and see if you can come up with a price. Stars and Stripes was the paper we got from military friends when we lived in Turkey in the 60's.

 

Apologies, I thought you were looking for other examples because you ultimately wanted to sell it, so I made a suggestion as to where to proceed.
If it were mine, I'd want to sell it with a 10 day auction format to end on a Sunday evening.
