Not sure when it was made. It doesn't look that old but it does say made in W. Germany so before 1990 LOL! ;-)

I just thought it was kind of unique even if it isn't a true Antique. Haven't done any looking into it but at least it's a little something to share with you guys.

Haven't decided if I want to keep it or sell it yet. :) It was shoved down in a box of cheap china. LOL! I bet it is pretty with a lit candle in it.

It throws some pretty light on the walls but I couldn't capture that on camera. It is pretty lit up though. rps20150805_200436.jpg

pretty. but please don't deduct age from the importers stickers, or from "W. Germany". the village of Arnbruck where this stuff is produced is in the most retarded part of Bavaria (the most retarded German state...). very nice countryside.
Bavarian Forest. passed once when coming back from Czechia.
IMO this stuff will not stand the test of time and most probably disappear in dumps worldwide, although it's well made.

If it isn't worth much I could see converting it into a light on it's own, small I know, or part of another complimentary fixture.

OH yes I will tell you at that first live auction I was amazed at what people bought. They went right for the junk and never even looked at the antiques. I could be like "here's a beat up plastic chair" and someone would yell $5 yet some very nice silver goblets couldn't even get a bid. That's when I realized people are indeed crazy. ;-)

JMHO. sell as fast as possible. although it comes from a well-known glass-making region, this here is not in a classical style that would be usable in 100 years.
re retarded: ever been to Munich ? they still believe they won the war...
